Is the attack on veterans a clever ploy?

It occurred to me that this insanity of waging a battle against the very people who risked it all to defend freedom from communists, socialists, fascists and other tyrants is not an accident. Our illustrious leader is at an all time low in his popularity and on his way out. The easiest way to put a new puppet in his place would be to make him out to be the enemy of freedom and the American way of life then set up the new puppet to oppose him. The new puppet will say all the right things and make all the right moves to win over the country then once elected will be at the beckon call of the hidden influences controlling him/her. We need someone of integrity and honor demonstrated over a long period of time to step up. Not the pre-determined   Product who will be forced down our throats. 

Since when did the NYPD start promoting the Apple Iphone?

Yes it has been a while since I wore a uniform on patrol. But it seems like a conflict of interest to me for uniformed officers to be handing out fliers in the street telling people to upgrade their phones o the new operating system for Iphones. This is not surprising consider how companies like Halliburton and the FDA  openly mock US citizens with the obvious connections directly to our government and our decision makers. I am sure that the safety of property and information are behind the decision to promote this but  it just doesn't seem right.

NYPD Ghetto Cops

Ghetto cop is a name for the guys who spend their time patrolling the "ghettos" of our great nation. They are not overzealous or concerned about minor traffic violations or being politically correct. The main concern for these men and women is doing the "job" and making sure that they get home safe. Your not gonna see them looking for a red light summons or breaking balls about the beer your carrying in a paper bag, they have more pressing issues. It is hard to imagine what is like to be in what looks like a war-torn nation in your own state unless of course, you are from the ghetto yourself. Many a decent, sensitive and caring officer has been thrown into the street scene often in shock at first to become a hardened, jaded and unemotional player in the human garbage arena. Try as you may, you cannot be happy and carefree in dealing with people under these circumstances especially when it is considered a  big status in prison to have killed a cop. I have seen too many good men and women killed by letting down their guard, not expecting what was going to happen next or just outright murdered because they decided to protect and serve. No matter what anybody tells you it affects you, just look at the suicides. You can't see the human misery on a daily basis and walk away unscathed. Being a ghetto cop and having done the vertical patrols in public housing projects, responding to every type of shooting, stabbing, overdose, suicide, child abuse, rape, beating and so on gives you a different perspective on life. You learn to face the horrors and appreciate your fellow officers that are all coping with the same insanity while being abused in the media, by politicians vying for position,  or by your fellow citizens for representing something they can't or just don't want to deal with. Yes, there are abusive cops that overreact and make some horrible mistakes but by and large, these are a different breed risking everything to protect people they don't even know,  they deserve and get my respect for putting on the uniform every day to keep a lid on it as best they can. Next time you are worried about that deadline at work, the uncomfortable commute or the unappreciative boss remember that cop standing on the corner, in the subway or patrolling that project and show him some respect because he may not make it home tonight and you may regret treating him like just another "cop".
